Doll DVD Sales

Fifteen years ago in 1992 visitors and attendees at the UFDC convention in San Francisco had a unique opportunity to see a wonderful exhibit of antique Bru dolls and French Fashion dolls. Jim Fernando, an internationally recognized doll expert, not only organized and set up this display, he also provided exhibit tours and commentary. Professional video recording of this presentation "French Fanfare" was later released on VHS video and sold by UFDC. The supply of the tapes was very limited, several hundreds of copies sold quickly and today these tapes are virtually impossible to find.

My Doll Club was authorized by UFDC to re-release the video and today I am very exited to offer this program released on DVD for sale on my website!

What is on the DVD?

One hour and ten minutes of seemingly endless parade of most beautiful antique Bru and French fashion dolls presented by President of our Doll Club, my mentor and friend Jim Fernando. Jim's expansive knowledge of the dolls, his expert commentary and wonderful presentation makes this DVD a true "must have" for any antique doll enthusiast!

How is the quality?

The quality of the case and of the artwork is apparent as soon as you have it in your hands, a lot of time, efforts and thoughts were put into making packaging and the DVD disk itself attractive to the doll lovers.
The quality of the video recording is typical of VHS records of the period.

How much is it?

The original "French Fanfare" VHS tape was sold through UFDC catalogs for $45. To make this wonderful program more accessible to collectors our doll club decided on the introductory price of $30 for a copy of the Standard Edition of this DVD.

Will this DVD work in my player or outside of the USA?

There is no region limitation on this DVD.

Your DVD player needs to be capable of playing disks recorded in DVD-R format. Almost all DVD players have that capability, however some older off-brand entry level models may not play this DVD.
